Blahopřejeme vám k zakoupení dvoukanálového síťového nabíječe/vybíječe s balancerem KAVAN C20 Duo. Zařízení má jednoduchou obsluhu, ale používání nabíječe a správné zacházení s akumulátory vyžaduje určité znalosti, které si uživatel musí osvojit. Je proto naprosto nezbytné, abyste se s návodem a v něm uvedenými zásadami bezpečného provozu v úplnosti seznámili dříve, než nabíječ poprvé zapojíte.

=== ZÁSADY BEZPEČNÉHO PROVOZU ===

* Během nabíjení/vybíjení neponechávejte akumulátory nikdy bez dohledu, zkrat nebo náhodné přebití (akumulátoru nevhodného pro rychlonabíjení nebo nabíjeného nadměrným proudem) může způsobit únik agresivních chemikálií, explozi nebo požár.
* Během nabíjení dotekem kontrolujte teplotu akumulátoru - ke konci nabíjení se může mírně zahřát (okolo 40°C, ale nesmí být horký – v tom případě nabíjení ihned přerušte a odpojte akumulátor od nabíječe).
* NEPOKOUŠEJTE se nabíjet jiné typy akumulátorů nebo baterií, než pro které je tento nabíječ určen – pouze niklkadmiové, niklmetalhydridové, lithiumpolymerové (LiPo a LiHV), lithiumiontové, lithiumfosfátové (LiFePO4) a gelové olověné akumulátory s počty článků dle specifikace v tomto návodu.
* Nikdy se nepokoušejte nabíjet/vybíjet následující typy akumulátorů nebo baterií:
 * Akumulátorové sady sestávající z článků různých typů (nebo různých značek).
 * Primární (suché) baterie.
 * Akumulátory, které vyžadují jiný způsob nabíjení než LiPo, LiIon, LiFe, LiHV, NiMH, NiCd, Pb.
 * Vadné nebo poškozené akumulátory.
 * Akumulátory vybavené vestavěným nabíjecím nebo ochranným obvodem.
 * Akumulátory instalované v nějakém zařízení nebo elektricky s jiným zařízením propojené.
 * Akumulátory, které nejsou výrobcem výslovně určeny pro rychlonabíjení.
* Nepokoušejte se nabíjet akumulátory velkým proudem neúměrným typu nebo kapacitě akumulátoru. Při volbě nabíjecího proudu se vždy řiďte údaji doporučovanými výrobcem akumulátorů.
* Zabraňte proniknutí vody, vlhkosti nebo cizích předmětů dovnitř nabíječe.
* Povolené síťové napájecí napětí je 100-240 V/50-60 Hz nebo stejnosměrné 11-18 V (autobaterie). Nabíječ se nepokoušejte napájet současně ze sítě a z autobaterie.
* Nabíječ umisťujte na pevný, rovný a nehořlavý povrch.
* Nabíječ a nabíjený akumulátor neumisťujte při nabíjení na nebo do blízkosti hořlavých předmětů. Pozor na záclony, koberce, ubrusy atd.
* Nezakrývejte chladící otvory na skříňce nabíječe – mohlo by dojít k jeho poškození přehřátím.
* Pro napájení nabíječe nepoužívejte nabíječe určené pro nabíjení autobaterií.
* Pokud nabíjíte akumulátor po předchozím použití (letu nebo jízdě), nechejte jej nejprve vychladnout na teplotu okolí.
* Vždy nejprve připojujte nabíječ k napájecímu zdroji a teprve potom nabíjený akumulátor.
* Nabíječ nerozebírejte!
* Nenabíjejte v uzavřeném interiéru auta a už vůbec ne za jízdy.
* Nabíječ nesmí být provozován dětmi do 15 let nebo osobami nepoučenými o správné obsluze přístroje a zacházení s akumulátory, ledaže by byl po celou dobu provozu zaručen dohled dospělé osoby znalé funkce nabíječe a s praxí s nabíjením akumulátorů.

Než začnete akumulátor nabíjet, zjistěte si jeho maximální přípustný nabíjecí proud; nikdy nepoužívejte nadměrný nabíjecí proud, který by mohl vést k poškození akumulátoru s rizikem jeho přehřátí, exploze a vznícení během nabíjení. Nabíjecí proud a zatížitelnost akumulátoru je obvykle udávána pomocí hodnoty „C“. Vynásobíte-li kapacitu akumulátoru hodnotou „C“, získáte hodnotu nabíjecího proudu. Např. pro akumulátor s kapacitou 5000 mAh s povoleným nabíjením 1C má max. nabíjecí proud 5000 x 1 = 5 000 mA, tj. 5,0 A. Pokud pro lithiový akumulátor neznáte výrobcem doporučený nabíjecí proud, z bezpečnostních důvodů nenastavujte vyšší nabíjecí proud než 1 C (totéž platí pro NiMH a NiCd akumulátory, pro Pb akumulátory ne více než 0,1C).

Due to the limited output power of the internal AC power supply you should not use the charger for charging in the same time, especially if the appliance was an inductive load (like an electric motor; its starting current might be 5–12 times higher than the regular running current).
