KAVAN Smart PRO telemetry Lua applications - Setup manual
Introduction
The Smart PRO speed controllers and telemetry and power management units seamlessly communicate with your ETHOS radio.
Setting up
The method consists of 3 phases:
- Preparing the LUA script
- Unit wiring
- Setting up and operating the telemetry
Preparing the LUA script
1) Download files for lua scripts - controller setup application
Download link from KAV website
2) Extract the "scripts.zip"
3) Select the folder with the required script, e.g. "smart_pro" for the KAVAN Smart PRO series of controllers
4) Switch on the KAVAN V20 transmitter
5) Connect to a PC using the USB-C connector to the USB-A 2.0 port
6) A pop-up window will appear on the transmitter, here select "ETHOS Suite"
7) Then upload the "smart_pro" folder to the transmitter's memory RADIO:/scripts
8) Disconnect the transmitter from the PC, turn off the transmitter.
