Introduction

The operating system ECOS is a new streamlined interface for monochrome-display radios. It inherits the logic of the ETHOS operating system, making it simple to learn and fast to operate.

If you have any questions about the V5 transmitter and its operation, please contact the technical and service staff at KAVAN Europe s.r.o. by e-mail (info@kavanrc.com for general technical information, service@kavanrc.com for service) or by phone (+420 466 260 133 for general technical information, +420 463 358 700 for service), during working hours 8 am–4 pm CET, Monday to Friday).

    • SA Up - the timer runs when the SA is in the Up position.
    • ! SA Up - the timer runs when the SA is not in the Up position.
    • SA – - the timer runs when the the SA is in the Centre position.

  • Mode selects the the mode regarding to the protocol of your receiver
    • OFF - the radio transmission is turned off.
    • ACCESS - the radio is in the ACCESS transmission protocol mode
    • ACCST D16 - the radio is in the ACCST D16 transmission protocol mode
    • HFSPEED - TBD
  • Ch. Range sets the maximum channel range
    • CH1–8 - Available in all modes. Allows you to activate the Racing mode.
      • Racing mode offers superior latency (~ 4 ms), but works only with digital servos and with a maximum of 8 channels.
    • CH1–16 - Available in all modes.
    • CH1–24' - Available in ACCESS or HFSPEED modes only.
  • RxNum allows you to define a custom receiver ID (00–63). The naming of the receiver is done automatically when the receiver is paired for the first time. This name can be changed at any time.
