Introduction
Keeping the firmware up to date is crucial to ensure the functions are working correctly.
You will need
- Computer
- ETHOS Suite software (Download: ethos.frsky-rc.com, or for advanced users: github.com/FrSkyRC)
- USB-C cable
Procedure
- Turn on the V20 in the bootloader mode by pressing and holding the multifunction knob and pressing the power button.
- Start the ETHOS Suite software.
- Connect the V20 to the computer via USB-C. Your V20 will get automatically detected and loaded in the ETHOS Suite.
- Open the Ethos menu in the left bar.
- Choose the preferred interface and audio languages you want to download.
- Press the download button next to the "WRITE OUTDATED COMPONENTS" drop-down menu.
- Wait for the update to finish.
- After the update finishes, press the "EJECT DRIVES" button.
- Disconnect the V20 from the computer and turn it off.
- Turn it on again and make sure everything works correctly.
