KAVAN Lange Knüppel - Montageanleitung
Einleitung
Lange Tuning-Köpfe der Steuerhebel mit eloxiertem Aluminiumgehäuse und CNC-gefrästem Mittelteil für die Sender KAVAN V20 und V15 oder FrSky-Alternativen. Sie haben einen eingebauten 2- oder 3-Positionsschalter und eine Taste. Diese ermöglichen präzises und einfaches Umschalten von Flugmodi, Ein/Ausschalten von Mixern oder sogar Ausstecken/Einstecken des Fahrwerks, ohne den Knüppel loslassen und nach dem richtigen Schalter tasten zu müssen.
Installation
- Disassemble the original stick you want to replace.
- Remove the handle using a 2mm hex key.
- Remove the stick from the gimbal using a 5mm wrench.
- Remove the core from the new stick and apply a threadlocker.
- Install the new core onto the gimbal.
- Remove the battery compartment cover and the battery.
- Unscrew the rear case of the radio with a 2.5mm hex key. Caution: Be careful not to damage the antenna wires.
- Thread the stick cables through the gimbal.
- Secure the tuning stick on the gimbal using a 1.5mm hex key.
- Solder the wires of the stick according to the schematic below using a micro soldering iron.
- Bind the wires together with a zip tie. Make sure the gimbal moves freely and cut the excess zip tie.
- Double-check that the gimbal and switches move freely.
- Put the rear cover back on and tighten the 4 screws with a 2.5mm hex key.
- Insert and plug in the battery, and put on the battery compartment cover.
- In the ETHOS interface, create and set up the new switches.
Setting up the switches
- Turn on the radio.
- Navigate to System → Hardware → Pots/Sliders settings.
- Enable the External pot 1 (Ext1 - left gimbal) or External pot 2 (Ext2 - right gimbal).
- Navigate to Switches settings.
- Select the SK (left gimbal) or SL (right gimbal) switch and set it to Momentary.
- Navigate to Logic switches.
- Create a new logic switch.
- Name it R↑ using the multifunction knob.
- Set the source by flipping the switch forwards/upwards.
- Set Value to 20 %.
- Set Function to A > X.
- Create another logic switch and name it R→.
- Set Function to |A| < X.
- Set the source by flipping the switch to the middle position.
- Set Value to 20 %.
- (If 3-position) Create the last logic switch and name it R↓
- Set Function to A < X.
- Set the source by flipping the switch backwards/downwards.
- Set Value to -20 %
- Check if all the switches are working correctly.
- You are now ready to roll.
