Safety notes
Charge only rechargeable 2S or 3S LiPo packs. Never connect a battery to each socket at the same time. Do not charge LiHV, LiFe, Li-ion, NiCd, NiMH, lead-acid or primary batteries with this charger.
- Read the battery manufacturer's charging instructions. The battery must accept a charging current of 800 mA.
- Charge under constant supervision, outside the model, on a firm, non-flammable, heat-resistant, nonconductive surface. Keep combustible materials away.
- Keep the charger and battery cool, dry and ventilated. Do not cover them or use them in direct sunlight.
- Stop charging if a battery swells, leaks, becomes unusually hot or shows damage. Do not reuse a damaged battery.
- Keep the charger's mains connections dry. Do not use a damaged cable or dismantle the charger.

Main section
Charging the battery
- Connect the power cable to the charger.
- Plug the power cable of the charger into the mains socket (230V/50 Hz). All the LED glow green and flash red indicating the charger is ready to charge.
- Plug the balance connector of your flight battery (JST-XH) into the corresponding socket on the charger.
- The charger starts charging. LEDs will start to glow red. If 2S pack is connected, Cell 1 and Cell 2 LEDs will glow red; if 3S pack is conne- cted, Cell 1, Cell 2 and Cell 3 LEDs will glow red.
- Once a particular cell in the flight battery has been fully charged, the corresponding LED will glow green. 2S pack will be fully char- ged, if Cell 1 and Cell 2 LEDs glow green; 3S pack will be fully char- ged, if Cell 1, Cell 2 and Cell 3 LEDs glow green.
- Disconnect the flight battery from the charger; LEDs will glow green indicating the charger is ready to charge another pack. Unplug the charger from the mains socket if you are not going to charge another battery.
Interpreting the indicators
| Green with red flashes before connection | Standby; ready to connect a pack |
|---|---|
| Applicable cell LED red | That cell is charging |
| Applicable cell LED green after charging | That cell is fully charged |
| All applicable cell LEDs green | Charging complete; disconnect the battery |
If charging does not start
Disconnect the battery and mains supply. Check the mains cable, battery chemistry, cell count, connector orientation and condition of the leads. Never bypass the balance connection or substitute a different battery chemistry to force charging. If the expected indication does not return, stop using the charger and contact your retailer.
On a 2S pack, only Cell 1 and Cell 2 indicate the connected cells. The unused third cell indicator is not part of the completion check.
